Come join us for the IN-PERSON June installment of Bring Your Own Animation, at Stitch Bar & Lounge (247 W. 37th Street, Manhattan)!
Here’s your chance to share what you’ve been working on with the rest of the NYC-area digital media community–and to check out what others have been doing. Come and meet other animators, exchange tips and ideas, maybe even find a future collaborator.
Bring Your Own Animation is not limited to animated shorts! VFX work, motion graphics, showreels, wireframes/animatics/works-in-progress, even game or VR demos–if it was made using a computer, it is welcome.
We will be meeting in the upstairs room at the back of the venue, and hooking up a laptop to the flat-screen, so bring your work on a USB and we’ll play it. (Make sure your USB drive uses a PC-friendly format, so our computer can read what you bring us. We will not swap out the computer to play from another computer, so make sure you can transfer it to our machine.)
Beverages and food will be available for purchase. If you do not have ID to prove you are 21 or older, you will not be allowed to purchase alcohol. College students between the ages of 18 and 20 are welcome to join us but anyone under the age of 21 that is found to be drinking will be asked to leave.
