We are now accepting submission to MetroCAF 2026, our annual NYC Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival. The deadline is Friday June 5 at 11:59PM EDT

New for 2026: Extended Area of Eligibility

We will now accept entries from all schools in NY state.

This is In addition to all schools, inside or outside of NY state, that are located within a 170-mile radius of Times Square in Manhattan. That radius used to be 160 miles.

If your school is within this area, please submit your work to our festival!

Show us your work! Next to all kind of computer animated short movies, we love to receive works exploring different applications of computer animation, including Visual Effects and Virtual Reality. As long as it was created while attending college in the NYC metropolitan area during the 2024-2025 academic year.

NYC ACM SIGGRAPH is excited to announce that we will soon be opening our submission portal for MetroCAF 2024. MetroCAF is the annual NYC Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival organized by the New York City Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH. Started in 2003, MetroCAF has grown into the most important local festival of its kind. It provides an exciting opportunity for all students in the NYC metropolitan area to show their work not only to their fellow students, but also to industry professionals.

We will be accepting submissions through Friday, June 14, July 12, 2024.
