On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, NYC ACM SIGGRAPH will be hosting a very special talk with one of the founders of the LUMA Projection Arts Festival, Joshua Bernard. LUMA is an annual event, held in early September in Binghamton, NY, that is focused on the art of projection mapping. The LUMA Projection Arts Festival focuses on large, building-scale installations using the architecture of the city as its canvas. It is the one of the largest such festivals in the United States focusing on this type of art. LUMA was also a part of the Brooklyn Bridge projection mapping display that was a part of this Year’s Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks celebration. Josh will discuss both of these activities, and share his insights on the global projection arts community.

This event will be held at NYIT’s Manhattan Campus near Columbus Circle. It will be a free event but RSVPs are required to attend.
