Scott Sindorf : A Night with UVPHACTORY

Join Scott Sindorf as he showcases some of his recent projects at a joint NYC ACM SGGRAPH / NYIT event. Scott will present behind-the-scenes footage from his work on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel shows, and the 10-part series "Clash of the Gods" which recently premiered on the History Channel. In addition, Scott will show a just completed 3D anaglyph surprise music video as well as Bjork’s 3D music video "Wanderlust."

Scott Sindorf is the Co-Founder and Principal at UVPHACTORY (UVPH), an award winning motion and design production house located in New York City. UVPH offers a complete range of creative services including conceptualization, live-action direction and production, editorial, 2D/3D animation, and final compositing for broadcast, commercial, film, music video and web clients. Since the company’s formation in 2000, UVPH has attracted a diverse client base including AT&T, BET, Bjork, Cartoon Network, CBS, Coca-Cola, Comedy Central, ESPN, FOX Sports, General Electric, HBO, IBM, IFC, Miramax, MTV, NBC, Nike, SYFY, Showtime, Swatch, Xerox, and VH1 among many others.

Scott Sindorf graduated with honors from Columbia University receiving a Master in Architecture. After graduating he entered the industry as a 3D animator working for such companies as Spontaneous Combustion, where he started the 3D department, Pixel Liberation Front, RG /A, and Giant Killer Robots. In addition Scott has taught for over fifteen years at such Universities as Columbia University, School of Visual Arts, the New School, FIT and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Currently Scott has been teaching at the New York Institute of Technology.

This event has limited seating and therefore requires that you RSVP to reserve a seat. This can be done by sending an e-mail to Rozina Vavetsi at rvavetsi [at] nyit.edu. Please put UVPHACTORY RSVP in the subject bar. You MUST include your name and an e-mail address which you check regularly. If you do not include these items in your e-mail, your reservation CANNOT be guaranteed.

Each person must send an RSVP for themselves; one person = one RSVP e-mail. E-mails that request more than one seat or list a class will NOT be acknowledged. We will be maintaining a waiting list to fill unclaimed seats the night of the event.
