Social Networks - Translating Virtual Engagement Into Political Reality


What are the opportunities and challenges for engagement via social networks for a provider such as Facebook, for academia and media professionals?


Witnessing the role of social media from election campaigns to grassroots movements, from disaster relief to amateur journalism we invite you to a discussion on social and political consequences of media access and the need for an educated user of participatory media.
