Acting and Storytelling for Animators

Are you an animator but you're not quite sure how to get "into character"? Do your animations need better "actors"? This course is a combination of script, story and character analysis techniques from the traditional acting discipline and a series of movement based characterization exercises applying the principles of acting to 3D characters. Through this process non-actors responsible for creating and manipulating virtual characters can have a greater understanding of the actor and director's creative process and contribute to the whole process to a greater degree. Our presenter for the evening is John Finnegan (see bio below).
